Comic Book Composing Camp

Comic Book Composing Camp for any instrument  |  June 15-18  |  10:00am-12:00pm  |  Ages 7-12
This camp uses the fun of designing a comic book story and artwork to energize the music writing process that accompanies the student’s story. Our teacher will guide participants through basic composition, melody, rhythm, and harmony, encouraging students to bring their imaginative ideas to life through music. Whether you're new to music or have some experience, this camp is the perfect way to discover the joy and magic of composition. Have no fear about the artwork! Students can draw their own or use apps that let them create their book. Each student will finish their week with a printed comic book and music they wrote! A workbook and writing supplies are included with registration.
For students ages 7-12, who play any instrument and have any level of experience including a beginner. Space is limited.
