Flute Camp

Jayne Copland - Jayne is a Flute Specialist that teaches at many High Schools and Middle Schools on the Front Range. She has worked with Colorado Honor Band Association, Douglas County High School and Mountain Vista High School. She has also taught at the college level as adjunct professor of flute at Centre College in Danville, KY. She currently plays in The Littleton Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Wind Ensemble. Flute Choir is one of her favorite things to introduce and she believes that ensemble playing is not only important in growing as a musician, but also fun! She maintains a busy private flute studio in Parker, Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch. Jayne will be teaching Flute Camp for Intermediate Level 1 & 2. 


Flute Camp Intermediate Level 1 - Monday-Friday, 3 hours each day  |  Grades 5-7  |  $299
This camp is for flute students who have had at least 1 year of elementary band experience and are entering grades 5-7. This camp will feature fun ensemble music, games, and challenges that reinforce and grow their skills. Students will reinforce good posture, knowing their instrument, instrument care, mouthpiece work, key names, fingering, techniques, rhythm skills and note reading with popular music. Come join us for a camp that keeps you playing this summer and have fun collaborating with friends!
Space is limited to 8 students per camp.  

Flute Camp Intermediate Level 2 - Monday-Friday, 3 hours each day  |  Grades 6-8  |  $299
This camp is for students who have had at least 2 years of band experience, with 1 year of middle school experience. Students will practice flute choir music and participate in games and challenges that reinforce and expand their skills. Come join us for a camp that keeps you playing this summer and have fun collaborating with friends!
